Today it’s Earth Day, a day dedicated to celebrating the beauty, fragility and health of our planet.

Here it is, our dear Planet Earth. Isn’t she gorgeous?

Many argue that celebrating Earth Day is pointless and that if we really want to make a difference in the world, every day should be ‘Earth Day’. That’s right. Earth Day is not going to solve the world problems but isn’t it a handy moment to make our world a bit nicer? I mean, what is so hard about picking up some garbage in the park or taking a shorter shower?

I decided to celebrate Earth Day with taking my bike to work and cooking a special Earth Day dinner from locally produced foods. And in the evening, I will cuddle into my soft blanket made of fur, one of the most eco-friendly fabrics, and instead of watching TV I will read a book. How do you celebrate Earth Day?
